It’s Coming!

Recently, the TREC Education Standards Advisory Committee (ESAC) proposed completing a 30-hour real estate brokerage class be required during the first two years of licensure. The proposal was adopted and will go into effect October 1, 2023.

A license holder renewing their license for the first time after October 1, 2023 will need to complete real estate brokerage to satisfy their TREC qualifying education requirements. Our GRI: Real Estate Brokerage class satisfies this requirement so members can still earn the GRI designation and complete the TREC requirements for qualifying education during their first license renewal.
